“Kendriya Vidyalaya is a system of Central Government Schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The system came into existence in 1962 under the name “Kendriya Vidyalaya” and has been affiliated to CBSE since then. Later it was renamed as Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Ramgarh was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The school caters to the education needs of the children of BSF and local people as per the admission guidelines issued by the Sangathan. Situated in the premises of 166 Bn BSF campus, the school is 6 kms from Ramgarh Bus Stand. 67 kms from the historic city of Jaisalmer and barely 43 kms from the famous Longewala. At present the school has classes from Class-I to X. With the appointment of permanent teaching and non-teaching staff, the school is all set for its rapid growth. With permanent infrastructure, the students will be able to enjoy the education of the students. The pace of holistic development which includes enhanced learning in sports and conducive environment will surely aid in building leaders for the days to come. All of us at KV Ramgarh believe in the limitless potential of a child. The entire staff takes a vow to unleash this potential in every child. This can be accomplished by implementing the revolutionary concepts of the organization such as CMP, Constructivism, NAEP, TAL etc. to prepare a generation with care and concern for fellow citizens, nation and environment. Ultimately taking the country to the heights of glory of peace, universal brotherhood, fraternity. We look forward to the continued guidance of Dr. Anurag Yadav Deputy Commissioner (Jaipur Region), Mr. Madho Singh Assistant Commissioner (Jaipur Region) to enhance the performance of the school in the future. Mr. Singh, Commandant 166 Bn BSF Ramgarh, Jaisalmer for making the school what it is today. We look forward to your continued dedication and enthusiasm in the days to come.”
